Some examples include:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* Average transaction value.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* Gross profit margin.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* A measurement of a company&#8217;s efficiency during the production process.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* How much is left over after COGS.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* Gross Profit divided by Total Revenue.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* Net profit percentage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* The amount of profit for every $1 of revenue generated.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* Net Profit divided by Total Revenue multiplied by 100.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* Debtor days or receivable turn days.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* How long your customers take to pay you. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(The sooner your customers pay, the sooner you can get that cash working for you.)<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* 365 (days in the year) divided by (Sales on credit or invoice divided by Average Accounts Receivable).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">More industry-specific KPI&#8217;s might include:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* Table turns per night.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The number of times a restaurant is able to sit customers at a table.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* Utilization.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The number of hours a machine in the production line can run.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* Rejection rate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The number of defects rejected in an assembly line.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Non-industry-specific KPI&#8217;s might include:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* Customers won\/lost.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* Customer complaints\/product returns.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* Staff sick days.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You must absolutely integrate the RIGHT measurements to get a proper insight into your business&#8217; performance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I hope this gets your juices flowing.
